Allentown IT budget trimmed; officials discuss DocuSign pilot estimated at $15K–$50K

On a separate efficiency initiative, IT discussed DocuSign (an electronic signature service). "We could be looking at anywhere between 15 to 50,000. That's my guess. We can get in the door at about 15, and if we need to up it, then we find more money to continue on," the IT presenter said, noting uncertainty about annual document volumes drives wide cost variance.
Council members expressed interest in advancing DocuSign for efficiency across departments; IT said it is exploring options to fund part of the project in the current year and may return with more precise estimates.
