Mayor Pro Tem Aurelio Montucci read a proclamation declaring Nov. 29 through Dec. 6, 2025 as Torrance Small Business Week and presented it to representatives of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce.

Donna Dupron, president and CEO of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce, and chamber members joined council in receiving the proclamation. Chamber representatives described upcoming Small Business Week activities, including a kickoff celebration and a media campaign encouraging residents to shop locally during the campaign period.

Council welcomed the proclamation and encouraged residents to support local merchants during the designated week.
