Parks staff report rising aquatics registration but say drop-in participation requires further analysis

Parks and Recreation staff presented an aquatics report that shows registration growth for 2025 but noted that registration numbers do not fully reflect drop-in participation, which staff must process separately.

"If you look at the front page, a lot 90% of this packet right now is all based on registration people pre registering for classes and participating in classes. It's not necessarily part participation," staff member Shakurra said, explaining the data limitations.
