The Syracuse Planning Commission on Nov. 4, 2025 approved the final plat application of Charles Osman for Westlake Landing, a commercial subdivision at the roundabout near 2200 West and 2700 South.
Noah, staff member, said the final plat matches the previously approved preliminary plat, noted cross-access easements and internal circulation elements, and reported that outstanding staff comments had been addressed. "Everything that's shown here matches what was approved," Noah said, and staff recommended approval.
Commission discussion was brief; the staff report noted the fire marshal's comments had been satisfied. A commissioner moved to approve the final plat for Westlake Landing, which the commission adopted by voice vote. The approved site covers 13.64 acres in the GC (general commercial) zone and will create multiple commercial lots and two new public roads shown on the plat. The applicant on the record is Charles Osman.
Staff said standard next steps include recordation of the final plat (mylar) and coordination on infrastructure shown on the plat.
