Public-safety report deferred; lieutenant to return with monthly data in January

Lieutenant Burdette, making his first appearance before the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, reported that the Department of Public Safety did not have an updated monthly data packet ready for the Nov. 4 meeting because it was too early in the month for staff to compile the figures. He said the department had previously presented similar information in October and that he expects to return in January with consolidated monthly figures (including November and December) and to present subsequent monthly updates thereafter.

Commissioners had no substantive questions during the brief appearance and the commission deferred detailed discussion until Burdette's next scheduled report.
