Finance director outlines $3.2 million general-government allocation to Building & Safety for FY26

IT and cybersecurity, she said, total about $642,000. Finance was listed at roughly $267,000, HR at about $287,000 and internal audit at about $234,000; smaller components included the city attorney ($60,000), office of communications ($61,000) and the mayor and council allocation ($124,000).
Committee members asked whether the $3.2 million is a percentage of any base. Lloyd Likos and Cunningham explained allocations are calculated based on how much each department’s services are used by the enterprise fund rather than a flat fee. Cunningham said the allocation amounts to roughly 19% of the enterprise fund's expenditures, as presented in the meeting materials.
The committee thanked finance for the categorical layout and had no formal action on this presentation.
