County 9‑1‑1 staff present Geisinger medical‑direction agreement, estimated $4,500 annually

Jonathan, representing Clinton County 9‑1‑1 operations, told the Jan. 27 work session that staff are asking the board to approve a medical‑direction agreement with Geisinger.
"This is kind of the final step, when it comes to making sure that our 9 1 1 center has medical direction, and this is an agreement through Geisinger," Jonathan said. He told commissioners the agreement "carries a yearly annual renewal rate of $4,500, which will be taken out of our budget." Jonathan said the contract is needed because "our 7 Mountains does not provide medical direction."
A commissioner asked whether the agreement would be annual. "Annual. Yep," Jonathan replied. Jonathan said the item would be scheduled for approval at the board's Jan. 30 meeting.
No formal motion or recorded vote took place during the Jan. 27 work session. Jonathan described the contract terms and the estimated annual cost; commissioners did not vote on the agreement during the work session.
