ALRB staff report several pending cases, one withdrawn complaint and an administrative order

At the Aug. 27 meeting the Agricultural Labor Relations Board received an executive officer report summarizing recent case activity, including a withdrawn consolidated complaint, a recently issued administrative order, and three pending matters the board is tracking.
Executive Secretary Santiago Abila Gomez reported a complaint involving J and G Berry Farms LLC and California Giant Inc. (case listed as 2022CE018SAL et al.) was withdrawn on Aug. 11 after the parties reached an agreement; the general counsel exercised authority to withdraw the complaint after terms were fulfilled. The report also noted ALRB administrative order for Tissue Grown Corporation was issued on Aug. 8 (administrative order cited as 2025-9) granting the general counsel’s request for subpoena enforcement.
Gomez identified three pending matters: Solo Mio Inc. (case number 2023CEDash002DashVIS) — the general counsel filed a request for enforcement of a subpoena duces tecum on Aug. 6; Wonderful Nurseries LLC (case number 2024RM002) — the Investigative Hearing Examiner recommended the board seek judicial enforcement of a subpoena posed to Maria Ester Gutierrez, and Senegrove Farms Inc. — a bilateral formal settlement agreement was filed for the board’s review on Aug. 14. The executive officer invited questions; none were raised in open session.
The board did not take separate formal action on these matters during the open session; they remain under investigation or in enforcement-related procedures as described by staff.
