Muskogee County Excise Board approves minutes, accepts Assessor report and approves monthly financials

Muskogee County Excise Board members met Aug. 12, 2025, calling the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m. Vice Chairman Ron Ramming moved to open the meeting; Member Charles Lamont seconded and the motion carried.

The board approved minutes from prior meetings as follows: the June 12, 2025 8:00 a.m. minutes (motion by Charles Lamont, seconded by Ron Ramming); the June 12, 2025 9:00 a.m. minutes (motion by Ron Ramming, seconded by Charles Lamont); and the July 8, 2025 9:00 a.m. minutes (motion by Tim Thompson, seconded by Ron Ramming), with Member Charles Lamont recorded as abstaining on the July 8 minutes. The minutes approvals were recorded as motions and carried as stated in the meeting minutes.

Assessor Ron Dean presented the Assessor's report to the board. Following the presentation, Chairman Tim Thompson moved and Member Charles Lamont seconded a motion on the Assessor's report; the motion carried (the minutes do not specify the content of the motion or any roll-call tallies).

The board also voted to approve Transfers, Monthly Deposit Reports, Monthly Reports, Temporary Appropriations, and July Deposits.
