Mangum, Oklahoma — The Greer County Excise Board approved monthly appropriations totaling $413,703.77 during its regular meeting on Aug. 4, 2025, the board recorded. The board, chaired by Lee Sparkman, met at 10 a.m. after advance notice was posted Aug. 1, 2025.
The appropriations were approved on a motion by Steve Martin, seconded by Bryant Reeves. The vote was Reeves—Aye; Martin—Aye; Sparkman—Aye, and the motion carried. The transfer report attached to the minutes lists monthly appropriations across multiple funds, including a Highway total of $165,329.63, SH Service Fee totals of $143,628.05, CBRI funds totaling $35,138.70 and General Government appropriations totaling $22,465.28, with a grand total of $413,703.77.
Earlier in the meeting, the board approved minutes from the July 14, 2025 regular meeting on a motion by Bryant Reeves, seconded by Steve Martin; the vote was unanimous. The board noted there was no new business. Bryant Reeves later moved to adjourn; Steve Martin seconded and the motion carried.
