Grady County commissioners approve year-end fund lapses, encumbrance reservations and purchase orders; no vote on use tax allocation

Grady County Board of Commissioners on July 1, 2025 unanimously approved a package of year-end fiscal actions, including reserving funds for unliquidated encumbrances and outstanding claims for FY 2024-2025, lapsing unencumbered General, Health and Cash Fund balances as of June 30, 2025 into the new fiscal year, approving Blanket Purchase Orders numbered 260001'160474 and approving estimates of needs, requests for appropriations and transfers for the General Fund, Sales Tax -SC, County Clerk and County Highway funds. The board approved the county's blanket purchase orders, listing numbers 260001 through 260474, on a motion by Bingham that was seconded by Commissioner Douglas Duke. Commissioner Zachary Davis moved to approve the estimate of needs, request for appropriations and transfers affecting the General Fund, Sales Tax -SC fund, County Clerk and County Highway; Bingham seconded that motion and it passed on a recorded unanimous vote.
