The Delaware County Excise Board met in special session July 29, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. at the Courthouse and unanimously approved two routine items before adjourning at 8:35 a.m.
Chairman Doug Smith called the meeting to order. Present were Vice-Chairman Steve Odle, Member Charles Marts and Michaele Baker, First Deputy to the County Clerk. County Clerk Barbara Barnes was absent.
On a motion by Vice-Chairman Steve Odle, seconded by Member Charles Marts, the board approved the minutes of the regular meeting dated July 9, 2025. All members present voted aye and the motion carried.
The board then reviewed the Delaware County Assessor—s 2025 Report to the Excise Board. Vice-Chairman Steve Odle moved to approve the report; Charles Marts seconded. All members present voted aye and the motion carried.
The board noted there were no members of the public present for comment; no motion was required. Member Charles Marts moved to adjourn the special session, seconded by Vice-Chairman Steve Odle. The board adjourned at 8:35 a.m. by unanimous vote.
The agenda for the special session was posted July 24, 2025, at 10:06 a.m. on the kiosk on the east lawn of the Delaware County Courthouse.
