Grow with Drexel offers stained-glass public art; Burke River Trails proposes park signage; board defers siting

Dan Hoyle, representing Grow with Drexel, presented a proposal to donate seven stained-glass art pieces for display in Drexel's park. The board expressed interest in the donation but agreed that the final locations for the pieces would be determined later because other park projects are pending.

Beth Heile of Burke River Trails asked the board to allow installation of a pedestrian map sign that would include a map of Drexel and pedestrian directions. The board indicated support for proceeding with the project but said the sign's location would be decided later due to other upcoming park work.

The minutes note that copies of Hoyle's proposal and images of both the stained-glass pieces and the proposed sign are attached to the meeting minutes. No formal vote or funding commitment for either project was recorded during the June 3 meeting.
