Committee suspends rules to accept late TAP grant amendment for Cumberland River multimodal path

The Rules, Confirmations & Public Elections Committee voted to suspend its rules to accept a late-file resolution approving Amendment 3 to a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant from the Tennessee Department of Transportation to the Metropolitan Government for construction of a multimodal path and elevated boardwalk from the Cumberland River Pedestrian Bridge to the Aubrey Mills Complex.

"This is to extend a correct deadline date that we did not realize was upon us. And so this is the large part of the initial funding. So, obviously, you wanna retain that funding," Greg said.
