The St. Paul Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) voted 6-0 to adopt Resolution 20 five-one 145 to authorize a retail management amendment to the Parking Operation and Management Agreement with Victory Parking Incorporated for the Lawson Municipal Ramp at 10 West Sixth Street.
HRA Director Newton told commissioners the authority owns the Lawson ramp and the adjacent retail space along Wabasha and that Victory Parking has operated the ramp and retail spaces since February. The existing retail management fee had been $17,400 per year; the amendment approved by the HRA raises that fee to $20,000 per year and also corrects contract language the city attorney’s office found did not accurately reflect the retail management terms.
Director Newton described the item as “a fairly simple item” and recommended approval. Chair Naker moved approval after no questions were raised. The board conducted a voice vote; the chair called the result as six in favor, none opposed, and the resolution was adopted.
Staff said the action authorizes staff to finalize the amendment to the operating agreement and implement the corrected language and fee increase in the contract with Victory Parking.
