Alfalfa County staff reported that the county’s Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) award had been increased from $10,000 to $12,500. Staff said the delegation-of-authority paperwork initially showed a previous reimbursement figure; after receiving the award letter they planned to update the reimbursement line to match the new award amount.
During routine financial business the board moved to approve appropriations and the meeting transcripts. Commissioners discussed which personnel are listed for requisitioning and receiving—naming Garrett and Nate as requisitioning and Mike, Ashley and Latoya as receiving on certain records—and the motions were carried by voice vote per the meeting record.
A correction transfer for the court clerk in the amount of $199 was presented as a bookkeeping correction to change a previously recorded park fee allocation. The transcript records the transfer and related approvals.
The EMPG award change was discussed as an administrative update; no ordinance or statute was cited, and staff indicated they would update the reimbursement entries to reflect the increased award.
