Commissioners award mobile command trailer bid, approve two right-of-way actions and routine claims

The Kingfisher County Board of County Commissioners on Aug. 18 unanimously awarded Legacy Brothers Inc. Bid #1-25-26 (Option 1) for an Emergency Management mobile command center trailer in the amount of $259,793.00. Commissioner Jeff Moss made the motion; Commissioner Mike Sparks seconded. The vote was recorded as Moss-Yes, Sparks-Yes, Anthony Schwarz-Yes.
The board also approved a Pinnacle services estimate for right-of-way acquisition on N2855 Road in District 1 in the amount of $9,600.00. That motion was made by Moss and seconded by Sparks and carried on the same unanimous roll-call vote.
Commissioners approved a road right-of-way for Devon Energy/Tetra Technologies covering a route described in the record as beginning in the SE SW Sec. 26-16-9 and ending in the SW SW Sec. 21-15-8, with a 12-inch layflat specified (District 3). That motion was made by Chairman Anthony Schwarz and seconded by Sparks; the motion passed Moss-Yes, Sparks-Yes, Schwarz-Yes.
The board also approved minutes of the Aug. 12, 2025 regular meeting and the agenda, purchase orders, warrants and payroll for Aug. 18, 2025 for FY 2024-25 and FY 2025-26, and accepted the monthly report for the Election Board.
