The Daviess County commissioners approved an agreement to retain USTF as a central real‑estate coordinator for the Westgate property owned by the Redevelopment Commission.
Nathan told the board the RDC had met that morning and approved the real‑estate agreement to have a single point of contact for developers interested in Westgate. Bridal (RDC representative) added context, saying USTF was established to coordinate development efforts across counties and the private sector and that recent activity — including a Mentum groundbreaking and construction at the Kratos Indiana Payload Integration Facility (IPIF) — has increased interest. The agreement includes a 60‑day out clause and a planned February follow‑up to assess progress.
Commissioner Keith moved to approve the agreement; the motion was seconded and passed by unanimous voice vote.
