Members and public volunteers were invited to join; the ad hoc Interpreter committee was limited to up to nine members per the discussion, and LCD staff asked interested parties to contact Interim Executive Director Jana Broussard.
Members who volunteered during the meeting included Commissioner Knowles (representing LRID through a designee) and Commissioner Crosby; the bylaws committee will include Commissioner Crosby and additional volunteers to be confirmed. Broussard explained that the proposed bylaws will be adaptations of existing state rules and that conversion into formal bylaws is intended to give the commission more control and make future changes easier.
