The Moses Lake City Council on July 8 adopted Resolution 4014 to abandon and deed previously installed water and sewer facilities that no longer serve the city because Big Bend Community College installed new infrastructure while constructing its quad.
Staff reported that the sewer main was a dead end serving only the college and that the college had installed a new water main and properly abandoned the prior one. The action will transfer the identified surplus sewer and lease easements to Big Bend Community College.
Council opened the public hearing, received no testimony and voted unanimously to adopt the resolution.
