Tiffany English pleaded true to four probation-violation allegations in two causes, 1830705 and 1931722. The judge found the counts true, adjudicated English guilty of assault on a peace officer in cause 1830705 and sentenced her under the plea agreement to three years in the institutional division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. In cause 1931722 the court adjudicated her guilty of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced her under the plea agreement to 18 months in state jail. The judge ordered those two sentences to run concurrently, handed English the trial-court certifications reflecting her waiver of appeal, and gave a written admonishment about ineligibility to possess firearms or ammunition under Texas law.
Shelton Reddick pleaded guilty in cause 250050 to unauthorized use of a vehicle. The court accepted his plea and sentenced him, under the parties'agreement, to 15 months in state jail and provided the standard written admonition concerning firearm possession.
Terry Thompson pleaded guilty in cause 250474 to making a false statement regarding property or credit and was sentenced under the plea agreement to three years in the institutional division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. As part of the plea, the judge signed a dismissal in related cause 250475 and provided the firearm-ineligibility admonition.
Winford Lamont pleaded guilty in cause 231842 to unauthorized use of a vehicle. The court found prior convictions true for punishment purposes, elevated the punishment exposure, and sentenced Lamont under the agreement to 10 years in the institutional division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. A dismissal in cause 250234 was signed as part of the plea, and Lamont received the written firearm-ineligibility admonishment.
Trevor Green pleaded guilty in cause 250524 to murder from April 2025. The judge accepted the plea, sentenced Green under the agreement to 30 years in TDCJ, provided the trial-court certification documenting the waiver of appeal, and handed a written admonishment regarding firearm-ineligibility. The court acknowledged the presence of a victim'guardian, Millie Stoker, in the courtroom.
In each matter in which the court accepted plea agreements, the judge confirmed that defendants had reviewed and signed the documents on the record, that the state tendered the exhibits (admitted without objection where noted), and that there was no evidence suggesting incompetence to proceed.
Several cases not resolved by plea were addressed separately: Carrington Scott rejected a plea and had his case set for trial with new counsel to be appointed; Christopher Falk was found competent to stand trial and his case was reset to allow defense counsel to review additional discovery; and pretrial evidentiary and scheduling issues were discussed in the manslaughter matter set for jury selection next Monday.
