Wright County — At a special July 3 meeting, the Wright County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to approve a large-group assembly permit for Turning Family Farms’ anniversary celebration.
Administrator Kreiser told the board the application was complete and that county staff and the sheriff had signed off. “I confirmed with staff everything is in order. The sheriff has approved everything. The bond has been submitted or the security document has been submitted,” Kreiser said.
The county chair opened the meeting with a short agenda and asked for a motion to approve. The earlier procedural motion to adopt the agenda was moved by Commissioner Shane and seconded by Commissioner Holland and approved without objection. Commissioner Shane then moved to approve the Turning Family Farms permit; Commissioner Moyna seconded. With no further discussion, the chair called the vote and announced the motion passed unanimously.
The board made no additional conditions on the permit at the meeting. The application materials filed with the county, as summarized by Administrator Kreiser, included the security documentation and sheriff’s approval; the board’s action approved the permit as presented.
