CAPSA representative briefs River Heights council on domestic violence services and local call statistics

He also provided River Heights-specific service counts for the most recent reporting period: 51 crisis calls, 2 emergency shelter enrollments, 3 housing enrollments, 4 clients receiving casework and 2 therapy clients.
Johnson described CAPSA services as confidential and free, and asked residents to consider volunteering, donating goods or joining awareness efforts. He said CAPSA is expanding services into Garland and Preston, Idaho.
Ending: Council thanked Johnson and noted the city’s relatively low incidence counts, while acknowledging each case represents an individual in need.
