Walton County TRC conditionally advances multiple developments; several items continued for resubmittal

The Walton County Technical Review Committee on Nov. 5 conditionally approved several development applications to proceed to Design Review Board or Planning Commission, continued a handful of items for additional submittals, and cleared an abandonment request to move forward in the review process.

Among the approvals, staff entered reports and recommended conditional approval for the Holiday Inn Express (MAJ25000053), a 104-room hotel proposed by Nautilus Civil Engineers on behalf of Sunrise 850 LLC; the committee moved that item forward to the DRB pending environmental sign-off and any remaining technical comments. The North Beach Warehouse (MIN25000128), an 18,000-square-foot light-industrial building, and Blue Cabinets (minor DO) were similarly conditionally advanced to DRB or director-level action after applicants provided resubmittals and staff recommended conditional action.

Applicants for the Garages at Miramar (two-phase vehicle, boat and RV storage) and several smaller projects asked for additional time to resolve stormwater, ERP and fire-review comments; the committee continued those items to the December 3 TRC (Garages at Miramar) or the November 19 TRC (GNS Glass, Back Bay live/work) to allow applicants to complete resubmittals.
