PERRYTON ISD announces multiple resignations and interim principal for Kinder

"Lisa's done a fantastic job as you guys well know... and she's going to be very, very missed next year," the superintendent said when announcing the retirement of a longtime staff member and her husband, who also plans to retire.
The board was told that Kelly Cates will serve as the interim principal at the Kinder campus. "She had her first day today, and I checked with her... and she had a great day," the superintendent said. The superintendent characterized Kelly Cates as an experienced principal who had previously served at Booker.
No formal board action was recorded on the resignations during the public portion of the meeting; the superintendent framed the personnel announcements as part of routine administrative business and noted the district has an interim in place for the Kinder campus.
