The Washington County Board of Commissioners took the following formal actions during its Feb. 18, 2024 meeting (all votes unanimous unless noted):
1) Consent agenda approved — The board approved a consent agenda that included nine items across departments (two sets of minutes; items from Clean Water Services, Fleet Facilities and Parks, Land Use and Transportation, and County Counsel). Motion to approve was moved and seconded and passed by unanimous voice/hand vote.
2) Appointment to Clean Water Services advisory commission budget committee — The board appointed Ramesh Krishnamurthy, Terry Song and Alan Jesse to serve on the Clean Water Services advisory commission budget committee. Staff presented the recommendation and the board approved the appointments by unanimous vote.
3) Public Right of Way ADA Transition Plan (Phase 1) — The board adopted a resolution and order approving Phase 1 of the county’s Public Right of Way ADA Transition Plan. Staff had presented an assessment and prioritization methodology; county engineers estimated a multi‑decade implementation with a phased schedule. The board approved the resolution by unanimous vote.
