Staff noted that body‑worn camera batteries wear more rapidly than in‑car systems and that some batteries were pending delivery at the time of the meeting.
Commissioners voiced support for the staff initiative. "It's literally a no‑brainer when you look at the cost savings in the long run," one commissioner said, and the court approved the extension by voice vote.
