Jenks Board of Adjustment re-elects Eric Inyart as chair, selects Patel as vice chair and approves minutes

The board introduced Carrie Schust as a newly appointed member; staff noted that the oath of office paperwork had been provided and that signing would be deferred until after the meeting. Chair Inyart opened nominations for officers and a motion to retain him as chair was made and approved by roll call. A separate motion elected Patel as vice chair and that motion was likewise ratified by roll call.
The board approved the minutes from the 05/12/2022 meeting by motion and roll call. Staff proposed holding a May meeting to handle reappointments and to hold a public training session on Board of Adjustment roles, applicable state statutes, and how the quasi-judicial process works; board members expressed interest and staff offered to provide dinner for that session.
With no further business, the chair adjourned the meeting.
