Enterprise TAB approves three right‑of‑way vacations to tidy irregular dedications

Items 4 and 5: Liz Olson and public‑works staff explained the original submittal asked to vacate a 30‑foot portion of Shills Avenue at 4235 West Ford Avenue. Public Works requested additional vacation requests along Shills and Raven Street to "clean up" the right‑of‑way, a request that originated from the commissioner’s office. The applicant and several neighbors supported the cleanup; David Ledford, who lives at 4260 Raven Avenue, told the board the work would align with other nearby vacations and was in favor.
Item 6: Jason Fakral, representing Oscar Rodriguez, explained the request to vacate an original government patent 33‑foot easement that circled a parcel; the applicant needs the land to build a house, detached garage and casita. Public Works confirmed additional dedications had already been made on adjacent Wigwam Avenue.
Board action: The board voted to approve ZS250433 and ZS250457 per staff conditions, and approved DS250434 per staff conditions; motions carried on voice votes.
What this means: The vacations will be processed under standard procedures and recorded; adjacent owners and applicants will proceed with development or construction consistent with current county requirements.
