The Delaware County Board of Commissioners on July 15 approved a series of routine motions including minutes, vendor claims across county funds, monthly reports, an interfund transfer, a professional services contract, and payment for prisoner housing. All motions recorded in the meeting carried by unanimous vote of Commissioners David Poindexter (chair), Jake Callihan and David Beck.
Key actions included approval of the meeting notice under the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act; acceptance of the July 8, 2025 minutes; approval of a detailed claims list spanning General, Health, Highway, Rural Fire, Sheriff and other funds; acceptance of monthly reports submitted by the court clerk; an interfund transfer of $1,176 from Emergency Management M&O to Highway Sales Tax District #2; acceptance and signature authorization for an on-call professional services contract with Guy Engineering for fiscal year 2026; and approval of $162 for prisoner housing at the county jail for June.
Several motions were procedural and carried without extended discussion. The board also recorded that a previously tabled subdivision plat (Martin Family Compound, District 1) is no longer proceeding after the developer withdrew. All recorded votes were "yes" by the three commissioners, and funding sources noted in the meeting record include the Use Tax account and specific departmental accounts named in the claims list.
