Autumn Coachella briefed the commission on two land‑use items scheduled for upcoming commission action. Val Lago is an 85‑lot single‑family subdivision south of Scenic Highway (toward Babson Park) whose site development plans have been approved; staff said the final plat is being submitted for recording and will appear on the consent agenda for formal approval.
Coachella also noted the Hickory Ridge annexation (about 47 acres near the country club and along Cops Road) had been approved at first reading at the prior meeting and that the second reading would be scheduled for the next regular meeting.
Staff provided maps and indicated both items met applicable local requirements; neither item was voted on at the work session.
