County counsel asked the board to affirm an enforcement order declaring the David Bledsoe property at 4648 East 250 South in West Middleton an unsafe premises after county staff and an appointed hearing found the owner had not permitted an interior structural inspection.
Mister Wilson told the commissioners the owner and the owner's attorney were requested to allow an interior inspection at a prior hearing but had not responded. Wilson said the next procedural step was to affirm the unsafe-premises order and schedule another hearing; the board set that hearing for Aug. 7.
Comissioners moved and seconded to approve the resolution (reported as Resolution 2025BCCR.16 during discussion) and then voted "Aye." Wilson also asked the board to authorize his signature on the resolution as presented; the board approved that authorization by voice vote as well.
The action affirms the prior enforcement order, schedules a follow-up hearing on Aug. 7, and authorizes the county official to sign the resolution for the record.
