The Youngsville City Council on July 10 approved a preliminary plat to subdivide Lot 5701 A and D (near East Milton/Iberia) into two lots.
Planning staff said the parcel is a reconstituted lot from a prior division and that the applicant intends to create two lots; the applicant’s representative (engineer) was present. Pam (planning staff) said the plat needs minor revisions, including showing a point of commencement and point of beginning for each lot, and confirmed that standard subdivision conditions (FEMA regulations, drainage) would apply.
There was no public opposition and the council voted to approve the preliminary plat. The item will return with the revised plat and required technical corrections before final plat approval.
