The Ravalli County Board of County Commissioners reconvened July 8 to conduct a department head evaluation for the county safety coordinator.
At the meeting the board offered to move into a closed-door session under MCA 2-3-203 for the evaluation. The chair initially declined, then the board briefly used closed-door procedures. On reconvening, the commissioners said they had a frank discussion with the safety coordinator and that no formal decisions resulted from the evaluation.
No personnel actions, hires, terminations or formal directives were recorded in the open meeting. Commissioners thanked the safety coordinator for their work and indicated they will continue to follow up through normal supervisory channels as needed.
