Facilities update: wireless upgrades and LGI1 near completion; district monitoring paused federal grants

Libby said contractors switched ceiling materials to a more maintainable 2x2 ceiling tile while preserving a wood-grain visual and that office projects on circuit-breaker and other files are ongoing.
Libby and administrators also told the committee they had received notice of a pause on several federal grant distributions affecting Title II, Title III and Title IV funds. The district said it is in a "wait and see" mode; Title I funds appeared to be released on schedule, while the paused grants could affect summer and professional-development programming if delays continue.
Committee members asked how grant pauses would affect after-school or summer programs; administrators said they are planning conservatively and will not launch programs that depend on uncertain funds until grants are confirmed.
No formal votes were tied directly to the facilities update. Administrators said they will update the committee as grant status and LGI1 completion are finalized.
