The change order covers temporary concrete restoration now, which staff said will be cheaper than permanent asphalt restoration. "It ends up being a reduction in cost," the staff member said, explaining the asphalt-restoration bid item will not be paid and the contract is otherwise complete.
A motion to authorize the utility engineer to approve the change order was moved and seconded and passed on roll call.
