Curriculum staff reported teacher participation in writing teams and the use of multiple data sources (Keystone, PSSA, PVAS) to guide instruction. Work on common assessments and report‑card content is continuing.
Student services presented results of a staff survey reviewing building handbooks (elementary, middle, high). Respondents requested clarification on absence language, dress code, e‑hall pass procedures and suggested improvements to formatting. The district plans an interactive translated handbook for 2025–26 and scheduled bullying prevention assemblies (middle school: John Halligan on Feb. 21; high school: a Tom Felon presentation in March; elementary: Box Out Bullying, date TBD).
