Separately, the board approved an agreement with Onalawney Township concerning a swale by the pump station, with revisions negotiated by the district solicitor and township counsel. The township representative said the project is scheduled to be let through PennDOT on June 25, 2025. Board members asked for continued oversight and follow‑up from the district’s project manager and solicitor.
Facilities staff also reported a recent precautionary evacuation of the high school tied to a minor gas leak originating at an RTU rooftop unit; Berkshire Mechanical is inspecting rooftop units and the district will verify appliance connections and warranty coverage.
