Main Street Marshfield reports sold-out beer and cider walk, announces fall downtown events

During council comments on Oct. 28 Alderman Dallas provided an update from Main Street Marshfield. He said new Executive Director Carter Howell completed his second week and that Main Street members and board members conducted more than 25 business visits focused on introductions and event preparation.
Dallas said the recent beer and cider walk drew more than 170 community members, tickets sold out the day before the event and businesses reported increased customer traffic and brand awareness. He announced upcoming downtown events: trick-or-treating on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.; the holiday parade on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m.; and a downtown wine walk on Saturday, Dec. 6 from noon to 4 p.m.
The council did not take formal action on the update; it was provided as informational during council comments.
