Council appoints nine-member team to evaluate Winebrenner redevelopment RFQ

Two development-community volunteers—Dave Krause and Marsha Bushman—had submitted letters of interest and council members moved to include both rather than choosing between them. The council also agreed to hold the slot open for a second CDA member should one volunteer.
Alderman Tompkins moved an amendment to include both development-community volunteers; the amendment passed and the council then approved the nine-member team as amended.
Barr said the selection team will review RFQ responses after the Nov. 7 deadline and forward recommendations to the council and the CDA.
