Bannock County commissioners approved a tax-cancellation request related to a refund previously issued to Idaho Housing.
Anita Jaime, Bannock County assessor, presented the cancellation noting staff had already refunded Idaho Housing and that the county needed to clear the tax-paid status and make the parcel exempt in the property system. Jennifer Clark, Bannock County treasurer, said staff planned to reimburse the general fund from the original account used to issue the refund so county accounts remain balanced.
Commissioner Jeff Hoff moved to approve the tax-cancellation request as presented; commissioners voted in favor on a voice vote.
