Crawford County schedules vendor briefings and lists updates on culverts, roadwork and insurance

On public-works matters, commissioners noted the county has surplus steel culverts now replaced by plastic and directed staff to inventory the culverts and report back on potential disposal or sale options. Commissioners said they would check logistics and consult the foreman before disposing of or selling material that some neighboring counties might still use.
A road-construction update said a contractor was expected to finish a paving phase, then perform chip-and-seal operations before returning to asphalt work depending on oil availability and schedule constraints.
