McCarthy read a proclamation naming fiscal services director Kristen Trevelis, Budget and Accounting Manager Kerry Rawler, Senior Finance Analyst Ariel Lorch (transcribed as Bridal Lorch), and others by name for their collaborative approach to the audit process.
Finance Administrator Carrie Roller accepted the award on behalf of the department and noted the department has 27 finance professionals who work on annual financial statements and related duties. Mayor Armando Pavoni and council members recognized the finance team and joined staff and the auditor for photos.
The award is an honorific recognition from the state auditor's office intended to acknowledge exemplary audit cooperation and financial reporting practices; no formal action was required of the council.
