Construction underway for Athletics School; superintendent warns active electrical bid protest could delay March 2027 completion

The superintendent also described the immediate impacts on the site and the urgency of a timely AG decision: the district is operating with temporary generators now, and additional delays would force changes to the construction schedule and could push completion beyond the acceptable window.
The committee received the update; no vote was required. Administration said town counsel (Christopher Brown) will represent the town at the AG hearing and that the district will press for a prompt determination so contractors can proceed.
The committee requested continued updates as the AG process and subcontractor selection move forward.
