Gloucester County commissioners approve series of grants, contracts and open-space purchase

Gloucester County commissioners on Aug. 6 approved a package of routine resolutions that authorized grant applications, contract awards and amendments, shared services agreements, and the allocation of open-space preservation funds.

The actions, recorded as Resolutions 56054 through 56081 on the county agenda, included authorization to insert special items of revenue into the 2025 county budget under N.J.S.A. 40A:4-87; contracts and contract amendments for building restoration and food-safety services; grant applications and acceptances for juvenile justice, mental health administrator salary offset, special child health services case management, public-health capacity funding, and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) health services; purchases for public-safety equipment; and multiple transportation and regional planning grant agreements.

- Resolution 56068 awarding a contract to Economic Modeling, LLC d/b/a Lightcast from July 13, 2025 to July 12, 2026 for $17,500 (Education & Economic Development).

- Resolutions 56069–56070 in Law & Justice authorizing grant applications for the 2025 Body Armor Replacement Fund (amounts to be determined by the funding agency) and purchases via Sourcewell from Software House International for $23,616.60.

Resolution 56081 authorized Change Order #1-Final to decrease the contract with Zone Striping, Inc.
