Ashland Council removes obsolete alarm-code and amends Hamilton Creek floodplain map
Summary
On Aug. 5 the Ashland City Council adopted Ordinance 3270 to remove Chapter 4.32 (Alarm Systems) from the Ashland Municipal Code and adopted Ordinance 3261 removing the locally adopted Ashland Modified Floodplain from Hamilton Creek, approving the attached findings and conclusions of law.
The Ashland City Council adopted two ordinances on Aug. 5, 2025: Ordinance 3270, which removes Chapter 4.32 (Alarm Systems) from the Ashland Municipal Code, and Ordinance 3261, which amends the City’s officially adopted Physical and Environmental Constraints Map by removing the locally adopted Ashland Modified Floodplain from Hamilton Creek.
