Board members also discussed copier performance and contract status. Administration reported several copiers are in year six of a typical seven‑year service life and that two copiers at the elementary school (BES) have required more frequent repairs. The district extended a prior copier contract during master-facility planning; staff said they are negotiating interim service arrangements to maintain operations through the remainder of the year and will solicit competitive quotes for replacement machines during contract negotiations.
The board voted to post the mowing and landscaping bid notice and directed administration to proceed with a competitive procurement approach for copiers when appropriate.
