Roll call was recorded as: Vice Mayor Tyler — Yes; Council Member Cagle — Yes; Council Member Ezell — Yes; Council Member Witt — Yes; Mayor Williams — Yes. Resolution 3636 passed unanimously.
The council approved resolution 3637, authorizing a 40-foot utility easement across city-owned property at 1623 Springvale Road to enable utility service to an unaddressed parcel to the west. Staff said the city purchased the parcel with Community Development Block Grant funds for flood-hazard mitigation and that the property is intended to remain undeveloped except for limited uses that do not impair its primary hazard-mitigation function. The motion was made by Vice Mayor Tyler and seconded by Council Member Witt. Roll call: Tyler — Yes; Cagle — Yes; Woodson — Yes; Witt — Yes; Mayor Williams — Yes. Resolution 3637 passed.
