The Los Alamos County Council confirmed three appointments to the Parks and Recreation Board during its Jan. 7 meeting.

By roll call, the council appointed George Marsden, Paula Knepper and Jacob Alders (names recorded as provided in the application packet). Each nominee received seven votes. The appointments fill three vacancies; terms were noted in the staff report as beginning Dec. 1, 2024 and ending Nov. 30, 2026.

Councilors thanked all applicants and encouraged those not selected to apply for future openings.
