Adam, a staff member, told the commission the item had been deferred at the previous meeting and staff had since asked the applicant for specific updated plans and for the property owner to be a co‑applicant. "We provided them instructions to not do anything until the plan commission discusses this," Adam said, and staff asked for plan details showing where pavers and a donation bin would be placed. Staff said it had not received the requested plan documents.
An applicant who spoke at the meeting said, "I thought I had sent that email to you. I went there and took a bunch of pictures and everything with it," and apologized that the materials apparently did not arrive. The commission discussed whether to proceed or defer; after the applicant confirmed the delay would not cause undue harm, a motion to defer passed and the item was postponed to the next meeting to allow submission of the requested plans.
No formal conditions or approvals were adopted at the meeting; staff advised the applicant to contact the planning office if there was a problem resubmitting electronic materials.
